
Biostatistics
Course Description
This course focuses on providing Nursing Students the necessary fundamental knowledge, skills and understanding of Biostatistics and its application in health and health-related fields. It equips them how to gather, analyze, and assess data for nursing studies. It provides the basic framework for thinking about data and its relations and seeks to differentiate between correlation and causation to uncover the proper interpretation of data.
Nursing Students will learn using appropriate choice of test statistics and methods of statistical analysis. student will be able to acquire statistical skills for data analysis and contextual interpretation of statistical results effectively.

يتطلب احترام وحماية حقوق الانسان ترسيخ قيم الحرية والعدالة والمساواة وتطبيق مبدأ سيادة القانون وتعزيز المشاركة السياسية , وهي ذاتها عناصر اساسية لتحقيق ( الديمقراطية) , وبدورها توفر الديمقراطية البيئة الطبيعية المناسبة واللازمة لحماية حقوق الانسان واعمالها بالشكل المطلوب , ولقد كفلت العديد من الاعلانات والاتفاقات الدولية لحقوق الانسان مجموعة من القيم والمبادئ والحقوق التي تشكل قاعدة اساسية للديمقراطية , لذلك فان الهدف المنشود من تحقيق الديمقراطية وتطبيقها يعتبر عامل رئيسي في اعمال حقوق الانسان الفردية والجماعية .

Health Sociology
This course provides students with a conceptual
framework of sociology and its applications to different aspects of social
life. Emphasis is applied on concepts related to rights/ rules issues and
interpersonal relationships among health team and between the nurse and clients
to enhance the development of positive attitudes towards nurses, health team
and clients. It identifies the health and disease in a social context, explores
their reflection on different individuals, groups and communities, and
determines the role of community in the health services as well. This course
enables students to identify, predict, criticize and respond to the health
problems of the society.

Human Rights Nursing
الهدف من دراسة حقوق الانسان...
1- توعية الطالب وتمكينه من فهم التطور التاريخي لحقوق الانسان واصولها في العصور القديمة وفي الشريعة الاسلامية
2- مناقشة مفاهيم ومبادئ حقوق الانسان في القانون الدولي , وتقدير الحقوق الفردية والمجموعات بغض النظر عن الاختلاف العرقي او الدين او الجنس او السياسة او المعتقد
3- تطبيق مفاهيم الحرية والديمقراطية في حياة الطالب الشخصية والاجتماعية واتخاذ القرارات وتحديد مسؤوليته وابراز دوره كمواطن له الحق في انتخاب القادة في بلاده .

This course aims to equip pediatric nursing
students with basic knowledge and practices related to clinic pediatric nursing to provide nursing care for children at different age group
from birth to adolescent during health and illness

This Course focus on Infant, Child and Adolescents' Health or it is called (Pediatric Nursing Course), include providing a complete knowledge and discerption about common diseases and the way to treat and prevent these diseases throughout the childhood period.

Maternal and Neonatal Nursing Theory
Maternal and neonatal nurses work with mothers and babies throughout labor and delivery. Maternal and neonatal nurses strive to make the delivery process easier and educe the risk of death and other complications. You may also care for infants, particularly at-risk newborns, during the first few weeks of their lives.

Nutrition and Diet Therapy
Course Description:
The course focuses on the fundamental principles of human nutrition and applied nutrition (curative). The importance and role of good nutrition in building the human body is emphasized. The students can offer nutritional care according to the category of clients.
Course Goals:
After the Completion of the Course students should be able to:
· Know the fundamental principles of human nutrition.
· Identify the relationship between nutrition and body energy.
· Recognize the specification and functions of different nutritional elements.
· Understand the importance of applied nutrition (curative) as an essential part of the nursing care.
· Assess types of nutrition according to the category of clients.
· Assist in helping client adopt and enjoy eating the prescribed food.
